Hello everybody. A short post just to introduce myself. I have a Mirage 28 which I sail out of North Fambridge - weather permitting. She is on dry land at present waiting for two dry days so we can apply the "Coppercoat". Anyone know when we are liable to get two dry days together. Look forward to meeting you all.

Hi and welcome.

WindGURU is indicating Friday Saturday & Sunday to be dry at the moment.
That could change of course.

A good way to meet quite a lot of us would be to come to the Pirate Weekend on Stone Point in the Walton Backwaters.

Welcome, please be aware that some of the members of the Eastcoast chapter are mad, bad and dangerous to know.

Unless you are of a strong constitution avoid all social gatherings at all costs.:)

Are you ashore at the Marina or down at the yacht station?

We're on a swinging mooring at the station but we'll be on the bank round at the Marina all weekend

Boats called Brigantia - if you're about say hi!

Bru

Bru. We are parked at the yacht station. I am there Friday thro' Sunday as we hope to Coppercoat Harlequins bottom on Saturday. Look forward to meeting you. Derek

And typically we're coming out at the Marina! (dunno why, didn't ask!)

Have you spotted the meet up in the bar of the ferry boat at 7 on Saturday evening?

Just seen the post about the meeting. Thanks for the tip. This means I'll will have to get myself cleaned up before meeting everybody.

I haven't had a chance to visit the ferry boat since the management changed hands. I look forward to the cumfy chairs and having the odd pint.

I don't mind comfy chairs as long as I don't feel I need to dress up!

As Brigantia has been hauled out down at the yacht station after all, I shall report back on the updated pub in an hour or two!
