If you look at the website it is aimed at shipping and fish farms/ stationary objects and they say it prevents barnacles and mussels growing. It says little about slime and weed growth

They say it is a foil with fibres hanging off it ?

The boat they use in the video looks like the cruising speed is about 8 to 10 knots from the hull shape. The video showed the hull freshly sheathed it did not show it after 12 months in the water having been used.

From what I have seen, I cant see the Thorn-d being a low drag antifouling suitable for planning speed boats such as a squadron 68.

Depending on where the squadron is to be based I would use a good traditional high performance self polishing antifouling.
