Hi,

Premier marinas offer the facility to spend up to 42 nights free of charge in a different Premier marina from the one you're berthed in. The only issue is that 5 of their 8 marinas are in the Solent and obviously it'd be better if they were more widely distributed geographically. I just wondered whether there are any other marina chains oiffering a similar deal and if so which ones ?

Thanks,

Boo2

Quay Marinas give 30 days' free berthing at each of their marinas for annual berth holders and also participate in the Transeurope scheme which gives a 50% discount at quite a lot of places in the UK and western Europe.

Quay Marinas are, however, in Wales/Scotland/North East so no home berths in the Solent or south.

Dean and Reddyhoff (Haslar in my case) also offer free nights in their other marinas, except in East Cowes on weekends and Bank Holidays when you simply get a discount. I have found this most useful when heading to the West Country as it enables a free pit stop at either Portland or Weymouth.

Transeurope scheme is the best one, as there's marinas all over the place and you're 50% off is more likely to give you better value.

Yacht Havens does 14 days free stays at other UK Yacht Havens. Additionally if you're away and a visitor uses your home berth, you get 50% of what that visitor is paying.

Kip Marina / Croabh Marina (Clyde / Oban Area) offer a similar deal.
