Another lucky solo sailor

Fell overboard from his boat and, not being able to get back on board, swam for 15 hours (without a life-jacket) to get back onto land.

Lucky bugger.The easy seas helped but swimming for 15 hours at night in freezing water is amazing.He should of course been wearing a harness.I'll make a note to myself...

Life jackets make swimming almost impossible, wonder if he would have survived if he was wearing one, or whether hypo- thermia would have got him before being found ?

And wearing harness , could he get back on as a solo sailor ?
