Could this affect C&RT or even EA efforts to get public purse funding?

Image captionCharities can still use privately-raised funds to campaign as they likeOrganisations that are given government grants will be banned from using the money to try to persuade ministers to change the law or increase spending.
A new clause will be added into all new and renewed grant agreements to ensure funds are spent on good causes, rather than on political campaigns.
Cabinet Office minister Matthew Hancock said "the farce of government lobbying government" had to stop.
But a senior charity source said it was an attack on freedom of speech.
The Cabinet Office said the government gave the voluntary sector about £10bn in grants last year.
The government says it wants to put into the official conditions that government grants to charities cannot be used for "activity intended to influence - or attempt to influence - Parliament, government or political parties".

Is it me or is this particular administration becoming a teeny weeny oversensitive to adverse critical comment.
If the commercial organisation that runs this forum is involved in some charity or other which receives government funds, could it be withdrawn due the the amount of flack that is dished out to the EA and to DEFRA,for instance regards dredging etc ?
On the R4 news it was suggested that this criticism has all come about due to the governments sudden u turn on green technology funding with the resulting collapse of several firms and the resulting loss of jobs.
Some may recall the following..
The Rt Hon David Cameron MP ... I want us to be the greenest government ever - a very simple ambition and one that I'm absolutely committed ... :)
