Another dripping shaft seal question....

From a google search I believe my shaft seal is a vetus dual lip so my first question is whether those that know agree?



So the next question is how easy is it to replace the seals?

At the moment I'm getting around 3 litres of water in the bilge each trip of an hour or so and happy to live with it till the end of the season when she comes out for maintenance - unless I'm doing more damage by delaying or at risk of a complete failure?

Looks like a Vetus Type ZWB. The seals will be replaceable, but never actually seen how it is done. Suggest you call a Vetus dealer such as Vitesse in Southampton.

For peace of mind - do you think it will just get worse (as opposed to failing completely)?
