Another Bradwell - "I don't believe it"

I know it's too late now but last year when I wanted a summer scrub and inspection I went to Shotley because Bradwell weren't interested in any deals. I only found out by looking at their website today that this summer they had deals on that were cheaper than Shotley. Wonders never cease

P.S. They are now offering next years fee at the old VAT rate if you pay before Xmas for the 1st April renewal. Their price increase is about 1% for second year running - seems reasonable to me.

Shotley WiFi

On H pontoon in Shotley now.
Can't log on to WiFi although there seems to be a good signel.

Wifi in Shotley is, erm.... suspect. I'm an annual berth holder and find it a bit of a pain in the bum. What i have found is, if you boot the laptop up and it sees the Wifi, then you don't connect straight away, it refuses to work. Three ways to sort it :

1) Start menu > Settings > Network connections. Select the Shotley connection and if it's already connected, disconnect and then reconnect straight way. Log onto a web page immediately.

2) Reboot laptop. As soon as you're back to the desktop, connect to a web page and it usually works.

3) Sweep the handfulls of hair that you have pulled out up, carefully super glue the keys back onto the keyboard that fell off when you punched the laptop and use your mobile phone to connect.
