Me too, really enjoyed those (& the others up there) thanks -

Re the slick type wake (particularly visable @ 2.30min on #2 but also to lesser extent in chop) is this common to this hull shape ? (= no drag ?)

Wonderful stuff! Lovely vessel!!
Reminds me that ''If God had meant us to sail fibre-glass boats, He would have created fibreglass trees"

After days of toil and sweat, my vid of our summer sailing our lugger is finally finished!
There are plenty of of boat shots, Round the Island Race, and going round Portland in a 6/7, too close in, at the wrong time!
Feel free to tourture yourself with my movie making skills, or lack of them!

Although I couldn't find the time nor the funds to properly own such a vessel I'm nevertheless deeply envious of what I think these clips portray and what I am missing.

Good luck to you and your families who are clearly getting so much joy from her

Would like to have seen more of the Looe Lugger festival. Especially Guide Me out sailing la Cancalais, hearing about it made me kick myself for missing it.

Have to say though, Barnaby doesn't half get about.:D

I agree, I would have like to film them more too, but I was skippering OP and trying to beat them at the same time! Oh yes we did, on handicap beat the Cancalaise, but we came in behind Guide Me though- 'the fastest lugger in the West'-even though they had Barnaby on board!!

Are you down there behind the curtains too?
