Another AIS benefit.

I read with pleasure the thread by Paultallett and enjoyed looking at the pictures taken by a third party company- great pics. I am sure there is a market for that service up norf and some posters were saying it is hard to get a good pic underway! I was pleasantly surprised last year when I went onto the Vesslfinders site to look at my track from the AIS recording to see that an enthusiast had snapped us coming home from a fishing trip and uploaded it to the site . I don't know how to get a copy of the pic but I was delighted because it was the only one I had seen underway. It seems there must be an AIS photography community out there.

I know! I was a bit spooked out when I looked up my vessel info and there was a picture of Breaking Bad...I'd assumed the pictures were selfies but it appears that there is a boat spotting community...

We discovered a few weeks back that a chap had taken a few snaps of us entering a harbour. Nice to have more pictures taken from off the boat!
