i have an arvor 25. 16 months old and the anode has wed growing on it does this mean it is not working. or would this be normal it does shows signs of wearing away but not by much
any thoughts

The anode should be wasting away if its working. I have not seen growth on an anode here in Swansea, but our seawater here is much kinder than elsewhere in UK.

Scrape away the weed and see if the anode is pitted and disappearing.

I'm on the River Crouch and when I lifted out last year my anode was completely covered in tiny arnacles and had not been working. Am in the process of replacing propeller and bearing this winter so make such it's connected properly.
