Anode Replacement - How often?

Ok so my anode lasted all of about 6 months. When i snorkel under the boat again in a couple of weeks is it worth fixing two? Will they corrode half as quickly?

Yes it will last longer if you have more anode material to the surrounding electrolyte. You are presenting a greater surface area of sacrificial material to the available electrolyte so it will take longer to work through the anode.

I was having trouble getting it in and out. In fact it was so stiff that my girlfriend couldn't do it at all and I had to do it on my own. After application of contralube 770 it's very easy to push in and pull out.

Perhaps we should call it CL Jelly :0

The additional volume will increase the life, but for a long term fix a hull anode is a better bet as it has a much greater volume.
