Angry fisherman

I moored our electric day boat (about the same size as the blue one on the picture) at the bottom of the steps immediately above the bridge for shopping. Very shallow there but evidently gets deeper outside the pub. Interesting that its a public wharf :)

I moored the barge below the bridge on other side by the cows and used the day boat for provisioning.

Its Henley Sales and Charter doing the day boats and a couple of rowing boats too.

Did he moor on the pub mooring or the one just up from it or on the other side? One hopes the vessel successfully navigated the bridge without damaging it !!

Just up from it, which took up most of the town side moorings. I don't know what his skills at the helm are like, I certainly wouldn't fancy steering the thing!

I'm given to understand it's underpowered, slow to respond to controls and generally somewhat of a pig to handle.

And likes navigating on the wrong side of the river! good job I stopped.

Back to angry fisherman, the last mooring spot at Pangbourne was taken up by a fisherman and swmbo would not let me moor up there, too much stress she said... shame it was not a boys weekend on the boat

Dont think Angry Fishermen will stand a chance this weekend. Wallingford moorings are extremely full. Moored their last night and got a field spot as nothing available above the bridge. Found out this morning it is Bunker Festival weekend by a fellow boater eyeing up my vacated spot. A lot of boats heading upstream currently
