Android tablets with GPS?

I don't know of any android tablet that does NOT have GPS - the only reason (and there are loads of threads on this) that the wifi version of an ipad doesn't have it is that the 3G chip and the GPS chip are in the same unit on an ipad. You do not need 3G or a SIM card (or a wifi connection) for a GPS fix on a tablet that has GPS functionality

IF YOU GET SOMETHING LIKE navionics you don't need a connection. The maps download to the tablet as permanently resident - you then just need gps to locate yourself. We've been using a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 £130 from Asda and funtionality is amazing. Navionics navigational options are limited but at £40 for the uk........

Thoroughly recommended.
Ps Samsung battery life about 10 hours
