Android tablet for Navionics app

Ha. That got me out in the garden in bright sunshine. My lenovo's GPS located quickly and then followed nicely walking up the street. Yes there was reflection off the glass and indoors is better but easy enough to read. Not waterproof though. Well impressed with the battery life too.

You don't need to view this outside, right?
There are some budget friendly waterproof cases available :)

Yep, but the screens are not for outdoor use unless it is half dark. Not seeing much on the screen might be ok on a photo, but it is a bit of a disaster if this is your navigation tool !!

Even in bright sunshine my sony xperia is still plenty visible where it lives under the sprayhood. Fantastic having opencpn's excellent AIS display up top.

Is this the same Lenovo tablet that Strolls and others have talked about? It's called an A2 rather than a Tab2, but from what I can see the spec is the same. I plan to buy one, just want to make sure it is the latest version. http://www.tesco.com/direct/lenovo-...vel=&skuId=285-9135#product-details-container

Being easily confused in this area, confirmation or otherwise would be helpful, especially as price quoted is £119.00

thanks.

I can get confused too. But that's the same one I bought for 139 which had been 179. It is the " Strolls ". :)
Yep .Double checked. That's it. Love mine. Though still in the honeymoon stage.
