I have a 10 inch touch screen android radio on the boat. I have I for a few years and I transferred it from my old boat. It allows me to Bluetooth Spotify and listen to the radio and it has Navionics loaded which still works albeit that it has not been updated for a few years.

Today when I was tidying up the wiring and trying to get the speakers connected properly I found myself in a strange menu.

By time I exited this I had managed to change some setting so that I have altered the way it reads where I touch the screen, the inputs are effectively flipped about a vertical centre line.

In other words if I want to select: find ship on Navionics, instead of pressing on the lower left of the screen where the button appears, I press on the lower right hand side. If I want to drag the map to the left I drag my finger from the left.

I have tried resetting and eventually got into various settings/menues but I cannot work out what I need to do to get back to normal...

To clarify: the touch screen and the picture behind it are no longer in sync..

I am sure some Androidologist will be able to help...

Second video is not English but between the two it should enable you to work it out. You may need a usb mouse to make it easier to click on the right buttons to avoid using the touchscreen!!

Excellent, looks like the way forward. However I do not have a mouse installed and am afraid to connect to the web as it will cause issues with Navionics.. so it will continue like a challenge on the "Cube"

You don't need to connect to the internet and it is just a case of attaching a USB mouse to one of the USB ports on the back temporarily to allow you to easily select the required options in the setup menus rather than trying to "guess" where to touch to select them.

That's even better I thought I'd need to install a driver for a mouse...I'll seek one out and give it a bash tomorrow.

Many thanks...

Got this sorted after seeing another YouTube vid.... Also explains how it happened.

If you put your 5 fingertips on the screen for a few seconds you get a screen with 4 buttons which are numbered. By touching these in 1234 sequence it reset the screen back to normal..

When I was working on the rear of the radio I had my fingers on the front holding it in😕

I will need to do some of the other changes to the volume button etc but it's working for now..

Many thanks to Captain Boo
