Is it asking too much? I have tried several photo managers so far and none of them seem straight forward.

I’m not to clever with these ‘intuitive type apps’ prefering simple file based systems ( not so sexy I know!!)
Non of them would geo-reference the photos ( my daughters iphone seems to do this as a matter of course)
So, can I ask what you recommend please

Look at. GGS Essentials.

If you run the camera through this software it tags the pictures with location details.
If you run maps through this you can ask your tablet to navigate you to a photo taken this way.

Very handy if you take numerous location shots on the fly. It even puts a head up display on the
screen to ensure your horizon is level and 8ndicates direction you are facing.

Thanks guys, I see that my current app is actually tagging the photos with position data though I have to ‘ask’ it to do this. It then allows me to look at photo locations on a map. I will persevere with this app.

I suppose that half my problem is that there is no ‘formal’ explanation with many of these apps and ( partly due to old age) I find it hard to develop intuitive ways to explore the full potential.
