It was much thicker than that South of Mersey Island, couln't see the Nass from 500m eastwards

Saw an old man paddling out to sea on a surf board towards the fog though, lost him in the fog. Good sailing wind 6.5kn

Tested our new plotter yesterday trying to get back to Woodbridge from Walton on Naze. Fog very bad, chickenend out from going over shipping lanes, but Mr Garmin worked brilliantly getting to & from Pye Bouy.
