I'm stuck here in Eyemouth by the weather so have taken the time to edit the next video. It takes me about 5 hours to make each one, you know.

Anyway, here is part 14. I was running out of music that I own the copyright to, so boshed together a quick introduction to this one. It's an, admittedly weak effort, at remaking Beethoven's beautiful Moonlight Sonata. I gave myself 30 minutes to complete it, so...

Anyway, much progress made on this leg.

I forgot to tell you that for the next 36 hours Scotland has been chosen for God's experiment to see if humans, and solo round Britain sailors in particular, as soluble in water!

Batten down you hatches and companionway and prepare for a serious wetting!! :( :(

There might be the odd shower but it looks like a beautiful reaching breeze for anyone heading north on that bit of the east coast. Wish I could say the same for the west coast of Scotland. :(

SE, up to 7 according to the print out on the HM office. A HR 31 went out and came back. If it's too much for a rassy, it's too much for Kudu. :)

Errrm, currently [11:30 Fri 14 Aug] yes but 'Low 999' sitting in 'Bailey' has other ideas!

He's only just winding up his key at the moment, run the animation below!

And how do you expect to complete the Jester? ;)

Without having to enter harbours in SE gales :)

Kudu would be fine, and so would I, but why suffer a miserable trip, when I can wait.

I think, since it's SW tomorrow, I might skirt along the south coast of the forth, and go to Eddy. It would be nice to do capital to capital I thought.

Only joking. I think twice about doing the Wallet to windward in F5 wind over tide.

Great progress now.

Not heard much mention of the autopilot recently is it working better or have you got used to it being a pain?

No, it's been better recently since Steve sorted out the play in the tiller. I've decided it's very sea state dependant though. Too much sea, and it's useless.

Great vid, Nathan. Must make a point of watching the earlier ones. Just out of interest, what make & model of camcorder are you using?

I have one, I just can't fit it because there's an outboard in the way :(
Presumably you'd swap the outboard for the windvane for the Jester: outboard's only really for in and out of harbours... and you ain't going to have many of those to worry about :)

I'm guessing that you've been over every possible option on this front: is it the particular make of the windvane that's the problem? The size/ weight / position of the outboard?

We were thinking we'd get a windvane on the Pandora in the long term: I trust that will not be an either/or with the outboard :(
