Anchorplait to chain splice in Plymouth area?

I know that I should be able to do this myself and one day I'll have time to learn but in the meantime does anybody know someone who can make a secure job of splicing 18mm anchorplait to 10mm chain? Plymouth area? As we'll be swinging off the end of the aforementioned splice I'd like it to be a really secure job please!

You don't really have to "learn" with all the time for practice and remembering that that implies. Have a look here and then follow the instructions; you'll get a perfectly sound job done at no cost and in less time than it would take to deliver the rope and chain to someone else.

As thistle said, it's very easy - takes you about 20 mins tops. You don't need any special tools, and why would a "pro's" job be any more secure than your own?

As others have said, this really is easy to do using the suggested Marlow guide or try this one.
The job will take you about 15 minutes, really.
