It is a compressor for breathing air, for scuba diving tanks,
have a big one at home for filling tanks for me and my friends, for the diving in Belgium and Holland.
Last year I bought a new compact portable Bauer Oceanus, for using when we are on a diving trip in Croatia or SOF.
Otherwise we have to fill our tanks in the local dive shop, and this is expensive, and a lot of hassle, transporting the tanks every day
I am installing a 230V generator on one of the Volvo Penta D3 boat engines, so that I can run the compressor on the boat.
when we go out for a day trip for 2 dives with six divers, we have to load / unload 12 tanks of 20 kg each, just for the filling, and again the next day...
when I have the compressor (40kg) on the boat, I only need 6 tanks, and na hassle with loading and unloading.
