That's Lambash alright!
I've had it explained to me by a Lamlash diver that the tide runs through the bay north to south for all but one hour of the full cycle and that consequently your boat is almost never going to lie bow-on to the waves, especially when there's little wind.
Newtown Creek, midweek when there's no one else around, but please can I roast that bluddy swan that keeps coming round knocking on my hull to be for food? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Er, Make that beg for food. A genuine Freudian slip, honest /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
For me (so far):
Most spectacular: Loch Scavaig;
Most "cut off": the "inland sea" between Gighay and Hellinsay;
Most atmospheric: Eilean an Naoimh;
Most peaceful: Oronsay.
