I keep seeing ads pop up on various social media sites trying to sell me cordless battery power washers. They seem to range in price but some are only €30-50.
It occurred to me that these might be a good option for washing down the anchor on retrieval. They have a hose that can be dropped into the water so a salt water flush would be very straightforward. I know the salt water would probably kill it unless it was flushed with fresh water afterwards but it could also be handy for a quick wash down when a hose is available.

Anyone tried one of these?

I use a Worx Hydroshot to wash my mountain bike. It works great and would probably do the job well on an anchor.

It doesn’t self prime very well, especially when trying to lift water so might be problematic and need a bucket of water on the deck. But then you may as well just chuck the bucket over the anchor?

No idea how quickly salt water would kill it.
