I believe (but don't know) that Fortess has a wider hinge than Danforth, and is more tolerant of short scopes. Just hearsay though . . . but that was an enormous piece of metal they were dropping in!

Yes, massive. In steel it would weigh nearly 28Kg. I think we might send in a 10Kg aluminium Rocna next time just to mess with 'em...

I've just bought a Manson Supreme. If I haven't been dragged away into the sunset I'll report back at the end of the season. Assumming anyone has the slightest interest that is!
