I wasn't on board, but the owner Tony McGrail at the time was a good friend. Lazy Days was subsequently owned by his brother in law who used to post on this forum. Back then then Lazy Days was a bit famous for the painting on the stern of the two girls, & (although I never saw it) the painting in the heads of a less clothed girl. Some of the more traditional Dunkirk group weren't that impressed.
Tony did a full write up in our Thames Vintage Boat Club magazine including a diagram of valves he intended installing so in another emergency he could more easily use the engines to pump the bilges.
