With all of the races, and the "publibity stunt" attempts (e.g. youngest), this genuinely impressive attempt, without publicity, is well under way but probably "lost" in the noise of other RTWers.

This guy is trying to go non-stop around the world, via the great capes, in a 21 foot boat. And he's just getting on with it.

Good luck to him, I say.

.
Amazing. Respect. You need to be pretty tough to do that.

Don't denigrate Jessica's achievement though - the lassie is doing well, only 500 miles from Cape Horn and not a single whinge yet - and she's doing it in an old 34-footer of the sort many of us sail.

Serious respect.

Definitely one of the ''show us what you've done'' mob and not the ''tell us what you're going to do'' lot.

That is a tiny boat for southern latitudes..

You're right. It is strange. I looked at the site several weeks ago and there was much more information about the boat. I understand it is this MiniTransat 6.50 m boat.

But it has clearly been heavily modified.

His webiste links to this article in the French magazine "Voiles et Voiliers" - it shows a few pictures of the modifications.
