Amusing Boat Names

I always liked this one for the name of my band. As it also has a nautical feel maybe it would suit somebody here who has a yearning for the distant waterways of Europe: Far Canal.

For anyone who has studied tax law and made their money doing internet stuff (I've done both, but not /quite/ successfully enough†...), I offer "Net Benefit".

† Had a company motorbike once, but not a company yacht, back when the tax treatment of "travel to client site" was a bit more favourable than it is now.

There are some fun ones on the Thames - I always like "Cirrhosis of the river" (I believe there is also a "Sir Osis"), and for some reason "Not now Kato" always makes me smile

I once rescued a boat called 'Hell's Bells'. It was quite fun talking to him and the CG. My all time favourite is this one, I love to imagine what sort of person would do this...

Tempted to reply to a hail from "Sirius" in McEnroe like voice with 'You cannot be Sirius'.

Old favourites include a mirror dinghy "Maid of Pligh" and a ferro vessel "Maid of Portland"

Imagine a call to Falmouth Coastguard from a Swedish yacht valled 'Night' and a UK yacht called 'Exocet Attack'. A UK bloke in Venzuela bought a Venezulan boat with a Spanish name and renamed it 'Security' We talked him into changing it.
