A friend and I are thinking of taking a Squadron 59 to Amsterdam for a week in September. We need to be as near to the city / Central Station areas as possible (not for the reasons you are thinking).

Does anybody have any advice on marinas/moorings/facilities? I have heard Sixhaven mentioned, but think the Squadron might be too long (and I can't find a WWW site for them)

can't find any good www-s for the Amsterdam area myself, which is funny. Sixhaven can be crowded sometimes and a 56 ft is a big boat. Perhaps wise to contact them..... Best chance, Sixhaven or perhaps Aeolus for the direct Amsterdam area. Both IJmuiden and Muiden shouldn't be a problem, from Muiden it is possible by train of taxi to visit A'dam.
