the pictures here are of amphibs which were supposed to take employment at the falkirk wheel. they seem to have vanished! has anyone seen them?

Perhaps it wasn't as amphibious as was hoped. Have you tried looking down?

drained the wheel basin and no sign of them!

Have pleasant memories of an interesting visit to the Falkirk wheel (2004), only had old blue hulled ferries in those days, but the whole show was well done, a great feat of engineering.
