Ampair have gone out of business

We had our really quite old Ampair 100 wind turbine refurbed by Ampair at the end of last year.

We are about to reinstall it and I was starting to look at getting a regulator for it.... but it seems that Ampair are no more.

They seem to have gone out of business. Seems a shame as their kit seems to be well regarded.

Any suggestions for a combined solar and wind regulator, or separate ones for that matter.

Marlec do a combine solar and wind , try them , they are very helpful

They are not out of business, just under new ownership. Contact the new owners at:

I did and they were very helpful. They are in a period of "transition" at the moment so it may take a while before product support is up to speed though.

The Marlec wind & solar regulators are very good my only gripe is that is not possible to switch off the wind generator without also switching off the solar input. This would be very useful for when leaving the boat.
