Turning out of the run to take the preasure of the sail now. A hidious wine glass kite as they attempt to hoist their 3rd.

They curently have

Torn kite with no sheets on it,

No 2 kite flying out under no control,

3rd now got rid of the wine glass and trying to get kite no 2 down!! Its flying horizontally from the top of the mast!!

They've freed it, dumped it in the water.

They now Gibe at the stabd Layline, and are now settled-ish!
They seem to have been trying to peel, and it all went to rat-shlt!

What sort of kite are they flying? Sounds like it might be windy enough for symetricals?

The Kiwis are now on their 3rd kite, thats buggered their sail wardrobe on this race. The Swiss gibing, nicely done.

Big sails out, full main, kite and it looks like a No2 flying jib!!!!!

At the mark now,

SUI on the beat now, Kiwis under preasure +26 secs, they used the other mark and are now coming up the pt side of the course.

NZL beating better than the Swiss.

Swiss on pt tack, NZL on stbd.

Each on their own side of the course. The Swiss have the advantage altough in distance is reducing between them.
Coming up to the first cross over.

NZL may have to tuck behind SUI, or tack!

The Swiss are seeming to be sailing at a tighter angle for the mark, thus losing a bit of boat speed, but will not have to tack!

The NZL boat is a tad less volume than the Swiss, and therefore may tack easier!

2km to mark
