Looking to get a few Cummins QSB engine service items… it looks like it’s cheaper for me to order from the US rather than UK… Drive belt, Sea water pump belt and impeller kit. UK total = £729.52 inc vat and shipping. US total = £423.07 inc vat, import duty, clearance admin charge and shipping…

biggest difference item is the pump belt… £293.69 ex vat vs $175 ex vat..

Any non-Volvo users out there experienced something similar??

I used to buy Cat parts in the States. I travelled regularly so brought the parts back in my luggage.

Assuming you are buying from Seaboard in the US... if I remember correctly, they seem to do a 10% off everything sale in Feb or March. At least they did last year.

yes… thanks for the tip on the sale. I’ve used them once before for a fresh water flush valve.. loads of good info on the website too..
