I notice several posts where folks are sailing to France for hols and anticipate no problems with covid restrictions when they get back.

Based here in France I would quite like to sail to the UK next week but get the impression from research that I will be forced to isolate for 15 days.

Premier say they do not accept vessels from foreign ports but I could anchor up for a night and declare that as my last port of call although probably not totally honest its difficult to get my head round the fact you can fly to France or Spain spend time there and fly back but it appears I cannot sail my UK flagged boat to the UK.... Or have I got it totally wrong?

If anyone knows precisely what the laws/rules are at the moment for yachts coming from France to the UK I would be grateful for the information...

i think we are in the same bubble with france spain etc,so no quarentine on entry, this changed a week or so ago when you were required to quarentine

I thought that as well BUT marinas in UK are saying they will not take yachts from a 'foreign' port.....

Are yachts allowed to visit other ports/marinas than their own at the moment?

Thank's for that ATOL. I had seen it before but hoped the new Air Bridge system had superseded it... OK if I sail out of my own port direct to UK but logistically difficult if from on the move.
Its irritating as France will let boats in from UK with no fuss but interestingly from today I must by law wear a mask in ALL interior public places so clearly some concern by French goverment,
When I look out of my window there are tourists, folks in cafes and restaurants mainly without masks and social distancing non existant

It says here that France is exempt from the quarantine rules.
DOT Guidance

Looks like you still have to fill in the passenger locator form but I don't know who you present it to at a marina.

Yes. Thank you. I had seen that but the form is a bit of a problem technically if I am on the move.. Don't have a printer in the boat...
Also it appears that marinas are not accepting boats from France... Well Premier were not a few days ago when I asked.. I will email Dover.

we ( in scotland ) have foreign boats in our marina at the moment , english , german , dutch , no french as yet , we are open to visitors but dont know about other ports / marinas .
