Aluminium 'tent' frames

As part of my awning project I would like to get hold of some tent frame materials. Ideally a source of tubing, bends and feet so I can fabricate on site.
Searches reveal sources of poles for specific tents and some plain poles ( from China)
can anyone recommend a supplier please?

Try your local campsites, as the price of tents has dropped, people dump them after a couple of goes, We find them a real PITA as they are hard to dispose.

I can't help with Alloy poles but I used fibreglass poles when I made my awning. I found the best source was those beach shelters that the cheapie shops sell for around £8 on any seafront. Buy the shelter, ditch the tent, and keep the poles. Far cheaper than buying the poles alone at Millets.

www.seascrew.com for fittings in 22mm and 25mm. Also SS tube, but you can get aluminium tube to fit from commercial suppliers - google aluminium tube.

B&Q sell ally poles and feet, along with a range of junction connectors to couple poles together at various.
