Aluminium oar connectors

Can any one tell me where I can buy the chrome button spring connectors for two part
aluminium oars.

Not sure if I have explained properly, it's the connectors that u push down then slide the other part of the aluminium oar and then locate the hole which the spring chrome button pops in place when the hole is located.

The chrome button has fallen off the spring thingy. When I enquired at my local inflatable retailer they will only supply the whole oar setup.

I don't want to buy another oar just for that

When I was a "youf" and still doing such things, we used a similar arrangement on the adjustable booms for windsurfing - might be worth trying some of the windsurfing retailers??

I think they're the same as used in sectional tent poles, so a camping shop might be worth a try.
