Aluminium Boats - What to look out for?

I wasn't pointing to the interior silly :)

It was the little diagrams of prop wash over the rudders ;)

I am well know for reading things literally

Sadly the boat does not have any lines that appeal to my eye, saying they are not many modern boats that do. :apologetic:

The prop diagrams are an interesting soloution, I wonder what the effect of a few knots of tide are on the flow to the rudders. Would be interesting to see their tank testing data.

Many boats over 60ft are routinely built out of alumnium because they tend to be made in smaller numbers and works out cheaper than fibreglass when you factor in building the mould.

If it has shore power make sure it has a galvanic isolator there should also be one on the 12 volt system. As said get a survey from someone who has experience with Aluminium boats. If it needs any welding most welders are qualified for steel and a few can also weld Aluminium.
