Fine for an overnight, I'm thinking, particularly with any kind of easterly, or is there anything I should know? Spent many a day there, just never a night...

Biggest problem I've found there is that either hook drags, or you can't get it up, but you know that within minutes

Swell can change drastically in a few hours, though no different to Studland or other places you are familiar with. Anything with a southerly is good, easterly also good. Strangely North tends to be OK, protected by mainland? Don't expect marina conditions, it can get quite sloppy for no apparent reason. Not protected from W or NW, when it can get very rough

If ou stay overnight, you'll be one of very few, which perhaps says something about the changeability of conditions there. I've had some wonderful nights there, so don't let it put you off, just look at weather beforehand

I spent a night there without problems. Actually given the current forecast, I'm thinking of spending the night there this weekend.

Might well be there on Friday night, then. We've dragged once or twice during the day, but generaly, once the hook's set, it stays put. Showing 10-15mph, NE for Friday night, so bound to be more comfy than Studland or a bouy outside Yarmouth...
