Alternator top bolt size

Hi does anyone know the bolt size for the top of the alternator on a kad 300 engine.
I think it is imperial as a m10 is a little slack and a m12 doesn't fit

if M10 is slack you need smaller, M9 etc.

If an m10 bolt is slack then an m9 would definitely be slacker

On some models it’s an imperial bolt as the head is 5/8 ,

Probably looking at 7/16" UNC or UNF. (more likely UNC, but that's me guessing)

Thank you for the help guys - will source a new one now I have surgically removed the seized one out of the alternator - which took around 3hrs to cut off the engine using a hacksaw blade then drilled a hole through what was left of the bolt then used a die grinder to weaken the bolt and finally a couple of taps with a hammer and it was free.
Not recommened or a pleasurable job so will be lubricatin the new bolt to try to prevent future seizing.
