Alternator for AQ151

Afternoon

I need a new regulator for my Velo Alternator on an AQ151, unfortunatly the auto elec firm who are looking at it are not able to get one so basically its a lump of metal !

What other options have I got available, eg would a car on work ?

Thanks for the links, basically from what I can gather its the same one as used in Peugeot 205's, the plan is to get a regulater from one and transfer it across. Otherwise its time to spend some more money !

managed to find one today, picking it up tomorrow so hopefully have it fitted this weekend !
