Something happening south of dungeness. Presumably refugee related. Marinetraffic.com show 3 lifeboats, 1 helo, 2 border force cutters. Hope it works out well.

There was a big search operation yesterday off the Belgian coast. Helicopter, 4 boats, search parties on the beach during 4 hours. A surfer had reported seeing a man in the water with a life jacket and empty water bottles tied to his body, presumably trying to swim across. Nothing was found. Two years ago a man was found drowned off the Belgian coast, same case, life jacket and water bottles strapped to his body. How desperate do you have to be to try that?

I did notice that the BF drone from Lydd airport (or London Ashford Airport as it prefers to now be called 
) was up and about in mid-Channel earlier today. Also, yesterday, the CG helio, again from Lydd, was flying at a very low altitude (25ft??!!) along the coast close in from mid-channel south of Folkstone west to just past Littlehampton and back again.

If it was considered racist then someone really doesn't understand the meaning of the word.

The sad fact is that prospective foreign asylum seekers (yes they’re often people of colour) need to understand that the U.K. has changed its rules - and that this time it means to enforce them.
Otherwise the U.K. shares part of the responsibility.
This is a dreadful situation where poor, frightened, and desperate people will keep perishing until the U.K., France, and the woke brigade finally put the price of life ahead of political bullshit.
And if it’s relevant, I’m a person of colour, BAME, or whatever the lingo is.
