Main worry in unknown boat,thing has been lying around for donkeys years up on Broads, bought back by truck to Essex and only lord knows whats lurking in those tanks after 30 years.Have got some spare filters etc but not being totally familiar with bleed valves or fuel system all the while while bouncing up and down off Maplin does not appeal.
Also the thing has done no hours offshore and would like to check that shaft/engine alignment etc are OK before having to open throttles in order to get out of trouble perhaps.
Just have to be patient.

Just been checking all the thames estuary websites,what load of contridictions,everything from sea state slight right through to rough...sigh !
