Ok, I wouldn't usually do this but I'm running out of ideas. I'm running an all female sailing weekend 29/30 Nov for an East Coast Sailing School, I have 2 firm bookings but this isn't really enough for the trip to be viable, and we risk having to open the weekend up to blokies which kind of defeats the object.

I know there's been much discussion about SHMBO's taking courses without blokie in tow. I also know girlie courses are few and far between and I guess the difficulty in finding an all female crew is part of the reason for this.

If anybody might be interested please PM me for more details. If not, sorry to litter the forum with what I guess is essentially an advert!

What\'s a....

"SHMBO"?

Now I know a man who used to take all girl crews on skippered charter. Never wiped the grin off his face from one week to the next. Told me that he lived the life of a lord. Tea & biscuits arrived just by thinking about them, absolute adherence to the word of the captain and a spotless boat during and after the cruise.

Don't suppose you fancy a delivery trip from Athens to Corfu?

NO: I'd never get it past SWMBO - Sorry.

My SWMBO thoroughly enjoyed doing her DS with an all female crew and female instructor - I think it took a lot of pressure off her not having blokes on board.

Don't know anyone who's currently looking for experience so can't help except to wish you good luck.

Ask the two paying ones to find two others at half price. Give them all a fab time and they'll doubtless find you another 4/5 mates for another girlie-only course.

Re: incapacitated yachtmasters

i like your emergency courses run by yachtmasters for those situations where the crew/skipper is incapacitated ... do you have a course for incapacitated yacht masters? I know of one hereabouts who falls asleep as soon as he steps onboard ...

Sure the boots could be modified to be a little more suitable, not sure about the skirt though!
