What about the possibility of a protest against Alinghi not being able to drop their mainsail without sending a man to the top of the mast, could be interesting.

As a FYI -
We added up the costs of building the AC basin, the cost charged by ACM to Valencia to have the event there and the average money spent by each Syndicate.
If the AC goes all 9 races, each race only cost US$417 million each.
Hmmmm.. you'd think we would see should be expecting more excitement for that amount of coin.
