Builder and constructor: Odd Simonsen, an aeronautical engineer educated in Germany.
Started producing boats in the name of Ali Craft AS ( From Arendal Light Metal Industry.... ALI ).....
In 1971 the factory was bought by Simonsen / Norkapp and started production of the Contesse 20 and King 22DC and CC.
A lot of the boats designed in the early 70's are still in use as good and safe family boats.
Alicraft did produce boats ranging from 9 - 35 feet.
In 1988 the factory and hull moulds for the 31 footer (best known) was sold to Moland Marine, who developed a new superstructure and re-labelled the boat as AliCraft 1050.
Without knowing more about your particular boat, I find it difficult to tell you more, without going into a lot of details that you probably are not interested in....
