I'm having a certain amount of difficulty finding websites for the Spanish marinas in order to get an idea of costs. Other than individual emails to these places are there any websites, or guides, which set these out? Thank you in anticipation to all you good souls,

Not sure about Alicante but a 10metre berth in Torrevieja will cost you 3000euros a year & you can live aboard.I know because I have just got one. there are some still available I cant promise you will get one but I can ask for you if you like. The costs are very similar all along the coast with a few exceptions I have a berth in Torrevieja & one in Campoamor (8 metres) getting a berth is very difficult but the various brokers are your best bet, most marinas have a 2/3 year waiting list..........Nat.

A bit further north, but well worth a look is Benicarlo. New marina, reasonable costs and good point to set off for Balearics, Corsica, Sardinia etc. Berths also available for sale. Visited friends there recently and was impressed.

Can't see on your bio what boat you've got. There are two marinas in Alicante. Expensive on the starboard side as you go in. Less expensive on the port side.

On port side: Don't worry if you get no reply on VHF; just find a berth and then look for the capatinere.

I also hear there is free berthing on the portside on the waterfront quay.

Once you are in the med there is a free boaty newspaper thats around everywhere - it normally gives all the marina prices - When I was there it was around £10 per night - should guess at £13 - 15 now but I am sure someone will know - there are then very expensive ones like Puerto Banus which are 50% to double -

Bambola must have been in Alicante some time ago if he got it for £10!
May 2004, 11,33 metre, 100 Euro, one night, no kidding.
