I think she must be somewhere south of Ceylon (Sri Lanka to you youngsters). Anyone know the cruising speed of a modern container ship?

Just heard on the news about a container ship attacked by pirates off Sri Lanka, apparantly they stole some old trawler on board being carried as cargo. Hope this isn't bad news for you;-)

Long John Silver reported to be last seen heading east flying new burgee and keeping an eye open for a new trawler for mtb...funny how this forum seems self perpetuating at times.................

Prob about 18-22 knots 55.000 tons and it/she and still prob uses less fuel than my boat.Ps will appear just as crap weather arrives for our so called 3 day summer.
