Aldi - Inspection Camera

Was in Aldi today and our branch had Work zone inspection cameras in stock. A wandering camera on a flexible lead mated to a hand held tft display. I am sure it isn't the best version around but picked one up as it was reduced from £39.99 to £4.99. To good to be true, but went through the checkout at £4.99! Now I will be able to see what the back of the engine looks like

I bought one a couple of years ago but paid a fair bit more than you and although I have tried to use it several times I have always give up in disgust and regretted buying it. In a small dark place with mine you can't recognize what you are seeing or which way is up. I hope you have more luck than me :encouragement:

The cheap small endoscopes are great for many things. you can go even cheaper if you buy a USB version, which uses a computer or smart phone for the screen. I got mine from aliexpress ($6 with shipping).
The only problem I found is the focal distance which is around 4-6cm, this means that it's kinda useless in engines, at least small ones like mine .
