One sees development everywhere. Like a house of cards, squeeze a few more in, charge a bit more. Add some concrete..until the very reason that makes a place stand out disappears and it becomes just another example of marinitis to be ticked off on a vacuous ' by the numbers' summer tour of Marina pay points..baaaa baaa
I once stayed in the remains of a Marina that had been refused permission to erect solid sea defences and instead went for the floating heavy mass concrete dampers idea.. Well it never really reduced the chaffing much, then along came a cat 2 hurricane and bye bye, it were a mess.
