This sounds interesting. How to I get / use pro AIS2. The mc Murdo software is laughable. Reminds me of black screens with green text.

At the weekend a pal of mine has agreed to swap AIS units and so I will have a definitive answer to the installation question too.

Guess you read the thread after your initial rant.

I trashed the company because the AIS simply will not work out of the box unless you have a CD drive in your computer. That must mean you have a computer over ten year old? Maybe more? The software is not available to download from McMurdo.
When you do get the software it’s like this when it’s maximised on my screen as clearly it was written for a 1990s computer. Maximised and I get that tiny window.

Once over all those hurdles you can worry about the installation. Note I have already tried two different aerials. So whilst I have not entirely eliminated the installation being a problem, I have tried. I will do so conclusively at the weekend.
