Bl**dy noisy I thought. Turning mark just by SYH on old Felixstowe Road. Came right overhead low down.

They seemed intent on buzzing us both on Saturday on the way to the Walton Backwaters and on Sunday on the way back.
To do this 2 days on the run is a bit much.
We had the son's girlfriend with us and we had been telling her how peaceful sailing is once the engine is stopped.
I found it most annoying.

Some folk Clive live near Car Race tracks
But if you were going to live near a car race track you would know it was there and make the decision about buying the house based on that.
I really can't think of many worse plagues than the noise of those damn planes. Well, I suppose if the local bell ringing gang invited their mates over for a full peal, that would be worse; or somebody bought you a private morris dance for your birthday, that would be worse too; or your local pub went all real ale....
All right there are worse things than sitting under an air race for 2 hours, but not many. (Did I mention an evening at the speedway...)
