On the subject of air floors, I need to replace the floor in my Avon Rover 2.8. I know that it’s not possible to replace with a genuine Avon one as they are no longer in business. Is there a suitable alternative available??

I’ve had the same problem. Some time ago it was possible to purchase a replacement floor from Ron Hale in Portsmouth, but I think I’m correct in saying that the business closed due to retirement. In any case they were silly expensive, something like £600.
So I sought an alternative solution and bought a sheet of closed cell foam, cut it to shape since when it has proved to be an adequate and reliable (no chance of puncture) easy fix. The only difficulty is storing the floor if you need to roll the dinghy up.

I cannot speak for Avon but airdecks for many dinghies are made to standard sizes, probably not by the named maker, and are interchangeable across makes. You may find one that will fit.

You can get a replacement from temu or ali express, or the like.
It was thicker than the original, but seems to work just as well.
